This process involves embedding crushed limestone or granite into a  berglass resin matrix.  Unlike traditional "poly-stone," Fiberstone utilizes a continuous  lament glass  ber backing for superior structural integrity and tensile strength. Aesthetic Characteristics: The exterior surface features a tactile, porous-looking  nish that mimics aged basalt, travertine, or cement. Because the stone powder is integrated into  the mold, the color is consistent throughout the material, making minor surface scratches virtually invisible.
